Skip to about the two-minute mark to get some deep insight into the creationist mindset, which Tara from <a href=\"http:\/\/aetiology.blogspot.com\/2005\/10\/oh-mike-seaver-what-happened-to-you.html\">Aetiology<\/a> (which has since <a href=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com\/aetiology\/\">moved<\/a>) accurately dubbed the &#8220;argument from banana.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/video.google.com\/videoplay?docid=-5479410612081345878\"><img class=\"center\" src='http:\/\/blogs.discovermagazine.com\/cosmicvariance\/files\/uploads\/banana.jpg' alt='Argument from banana' \/><\/a><br \/>\nYou really do need to see the video, but I&#8217;ll spill the beans for the impatient:  bananas are the quintessentially designed object.  Not only do they fit snugly into a human hand, they even have ridges to allow for a tighter grip, a built-in color-coding that lets us know when they&#8217;re ripe, and &#8212; my favorite &#8212; a convenient pull-tab at the top for easy peeling!  What better proof for the existence of God could one need?<\/p>\n<p>I do wonder what they make of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.agronomy.ucdavis.edu\/gepts\/pb143\/crop\/durian\/durian.htm\">Durian<\/a>.  Perhaps the Designer has a sense of humor?<\/p>\n<p><em>Update:<\/em>  If you want to know more (perhaps your faith in naturalism has been shaken?), the video comes from a series called <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Way_of_the_Master\">The Way of the Master<\/a>, featuring Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort.
