In addition to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\" \/>taxes<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/pancake.uchicago.edu\/~carroll\/264\" \/>teaching<\/a>, I&#8217;ve been traveling too much; earlier this week in <a href=\"http:\/\/cosmology.tamu.edu\" \/>Texas<\/a>, tomorrow giving a colloquium at <a href=\"http:\/\/physics.swarthmore.edu\/index.htm\">Swarthmore<\/a>.  Somewhere in there it would be nice to fit some research, but you can&#8217;t have everything.<\/p>\n<p>I know that I earlier denied any interest in <a href=\"http:\/\/preposterousuniverse.blogspot.com\/2004_03_01_preposterousuniverse_archive.html#10786325623420964\">politics<\/a>, but it sure would be nice to have a job with lots of vacation time, like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/articles\/A62524-2004Apr8.html\">President of the United States<\/a>.  Now that I think about it, that would probably mean I would <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/money\/perfi\/taxes\/2004-04-13-bush-cheney-tax_x.htm\">pay a lower tax rate<\/a>, too.
