Wednesday and Thursday in Orlando, Florida, home of Disney World. Which is where I&#8217;ll be, but for semi-work-related reasons. Then to Austin, Texas, a tiny patch of blue in a giant field of red. I won&#8217;t be visiting UT, though; I&#8217;ll be going to the annual meeting of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.temple.edu\/psa2004\/\">Philosophy of Science Association<\/a>. We have a little session on Friday afternoon on &#8220;The Dimensions of Space.&#8221; I&#8217;ll be arguing that there are more than three, we just don&#8217;t know it yet. Then next week it&#8217;s to Sweden, to give a couple of colloquia and maybe check out an aurora or two.  (It&#8217;s a good life, I admit it.)<\/p>\n<p>One presumes that they have internet access even in Bush-controlled states like Florida and Texas, so blogging will hopefully continue unimpeded. But who knows what it&#8217;s like in a sclerotic European economy such as Sweden. So next week we&#8217;ll have another guest-blogger for you, Chicago&#8217;s own <a href=\"http:\/\/cfcp.uchicago.edu\/~risa\/\">Risa Wechsler<\/a>.  Regular Preposterous readers will recognize Risa as the silver medalist in our <a href=\"http:\/\/preposterousuniverse.blogspot.com\/2004_10_01_preposterousuniverse_archive.html#109838561579525880\">poker tournament<\/a> for Kerry.  But her day job is as a cosmologist at the <a href=\"http:\/\/cfcp.uchicago.edu\/\">Kavli Institute for Cosmological Physics<\/a>, and she has strong political commitments.
