The poor man has clearly fallen prey to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.preposterousuniverse.com\/blog\/2007\/03\/12\/catholic-priest-proposes-new-model-for-creation\/\">dreaded balloon analogy<\/a> for the expansion of the universe. More harm than good, that little bit of metaphorical imagery has done. It makes you think the universe is expanding into something, which it&#8217;s not (as far as we know).
